Het Thermoplastic Composites Research Center dient als katalysator voor innovatie op het gebied van thermoplastische composieten. Het centrum richt zich op de ontwikkeling van thermoplastische composiet technologie voor diverse toepassingen en markten, waaronder windenergie, olie en gas, aerospace, automotive, medische toepassingen en infrastructurele toepassingen. Het centrum is een initiatief van TenCate, StorkFokker, Universiteit Twente en Boeing. Inmiddels zijn tientallen partners aangehaakt.
The ThermoPlastic composites Research Center (TPRC) is a research center for thermoplastic composites where experts work together on increasing knowledge of materials, their behavior, product design and processing technologies. Our primary aim is to enable a more widespread use of thermoplastic composites by joint research and development.

We believe that a thorough understanding of thermoplastic composites materials and processes on a fundamental level is required to deliver on the promise of thermoplastic composites as the material of choice for lightweight components.
We are a specialized research center with a focus on thermoplastic composite materials and their manufacturing processes. Together with our partners, we develop the knowledge and tools required to optimize existing and new processing technologies and shape the future of the thermoplastic composites industry.
